About Nathanael Greene Academy

Nathanael Greene Academy was founded in 1969 as a traditional college preparatory school by a group of parents and interested citizens who sought a traditional college preparatory school which would also include prayer and religious education. Many of these original founders, their children, and grandchildren, are still actively involved in the school. NGA recognizes that education is best accomplished within a well-rounded program, which includes academics, fine arts, and athletics. Nathanael Greene Academy is accredited with the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC) and is a member of the Georgia Association of Private & Parochial Schools (GAPPS).

Nathanael Greene Academy seeks to:

  • Develop each student’s academic skills in an environment which also promotes participation in athletic and fine arts activities
  • Inspire and develop leadership
  • Promote diversity by encouraging the development of each student’s talents and abilities
  • Unify students from a broad diversity of religious backgrounds within a consistent non-exclusive environment of Christian education, love and values.
